According to the NJ DIvision of Alcoholic Beverage Control, it's the policy of the state to encourage moderation in the consumption of alcoholic beverages. Permitting a diner to take home an unfinished protion of a bottle of wine furhters that policy. Unfinished bottles of wine must be recorked by the restaurant.
